Suddenly, the skin under your watchband starts to it’s turn red and become a major irritant. It seems you have developed a sudden allergy to your own watchband! It can happen to you – so what should you do about it?
Get a new one
Get a new watchband band! If your watchband or any other jewelry starts to irritate you, you have probably developed an cumulative allergy to the substance your band is made from.
Also, it may be a combination of the watchband and your soap, the watchband and your perspiration as the weather changes, or any other combination of factors. But the watchband seems definitively implicated. Before throwing it out, check and see what material it is made out of so you can get a new one made of something else.
